In Greek myth when Perseus kills Medusa, the Gorgon sisters chase after him seeking revenge. This perhaps lesser known aspect of the story demonstrates the deep bond among the sisters. My goal within this illustration is to depict this bond without the darker elements of the story. I show the gorgons having fun as sisters, doing each other's hair and makeup. I explored this within the context of these characters’ snake hair.
